Great improvement by Diana on 25 September 2019

My eldest Shih Tzu who is 15 years old is much more active since I have put him on your senior dog food. It definatly suits him.

One of the best dry dog foods on the market. by Bovrat on 28 August 2019

I have given my support dog Orijen for the last eight years of his life.He has been given Orijen senior for the last two. He has gone to the vets every year for booster etc and passed with flying colours.Every one we see out and out and about says he looks so healthy with a fine shiny coat.He is a black Schnauzer with no Grey hair only one or two on his beard.Alfie is the fourth working dog I have had to assist me.All have been feed Orijen. We have never had a complaint about it.So now it is down to you to do your home work if you wish to give it to your best friend.PS all the three before Alfie.Charlie Harvey Bobby where all Schnauzers. And never missed a day of work.

good product - slow delivery time by PDJC on 25 July 2019

Good product which I have used before, my dog loves this more than any other dry dog food on the market. - disappointed with delivery service - i used standard delivery which with other suppliers of this food has usually taken 3/4 days - this took 9 days from order to delivery - I will factor this in if I decide to place future orders with Pet Planet

clean plates and happ, satisfied doggies by Josie and Lily on 21 January 2019

Super dog food, I really believe that Origen food, from puppy to senior, has played a large part in keeping my doggies fit and healthy. So simple to order from PetPlanet and excellent delivery. Wouldn't think of changing anything.

My dog loves it. by Patricia Bickel on 27 September 2018

My cocker spaniel loves this food. He used to have orijen when he was a puppy but there were very few suppliers then and we had to travel miles to get it. So I'm very pleased to have found PetPlanet who have provided an excellent and fast service. I highly recommend this food.

Questions

Q: What age would you start to give dogs the senior orijen food? My dog is nearly 7 years old.
A: Trying to decide when you should change from an adult dog food to a senior dog food can be a painstaking process, We know that when a dog is a senior, they are going to have specific dietary needs. So, how do you know when to switch food? Here are six signs that will indicate when you should consider switching food: Dull, Flaky Coat, Weak or Lethargic, Senioritis, Thick Midsection, Gastrointestinal Problems and Itching. There is basic guidelines for specific size of breeds which are small breed 7 years, medium breeds 7 years, large breeds 6 years and giant breed 5 years, however if you are unsure we would recommend you speak to your vet.
