Frightened, anxious, hyperactive and stressed animals can be calmed quickly using this easy to give Dorwest Organic Valerian Compound liquid. Dropped into your pet’s mouth, given on food or even just a few drops sprinkled on your pet’s bedding can result in a more amenable pet, so visits to the vet, travelling or moving house instantly become less stressful situations. Cats particularly love the smell of Valerian Compound, so administration really could not be simpler.

The concentrated herbal extracts used in this liquid ensure that within just 30 minutes a noticeable change in behaviour occurs without causing drowsiness and the effects are quite short lived. In situations that have a longer duration then it is recommended to also give Scullcap and Valerian Tablets. When faced with unexpected events like thunderstorms, Valerian Compound has a fast action and it can also be used in conjunction with Scullcap and Valerian Tablets in especially fearful situations and for phobic animals.

  • Minimum age for use: 8 weeks.
  • Can be given in conjunction with any medication.
  • Not recommended for pregnant or lactating females.

Quantity: 30ml

Caution should be taken when administering this product to exotic cats with low body fat as very occasionally hyperactivity has been induced by use of this product.

Valerian calming by Rdlv31 on 1 November 2016

This was recommended by a vet for my hyper ancious dog. Fireworks, storms, loud noises (I have seven grandchildren) - all added to his anxieties. It works! I have no idea why, but in conjunction with his sroem vest he has become a much calmer boy.

My neurotic cat stressed by foxes so spraying in the house and attacking his sister and felliway was doing nothing This smells disgusting so really didnt expect my fussy cat to take it but add it to his wet food and he sniffs and then eats it funny creatures i have only been giving him half a dose daily but he is def much more chilled with itback to hanging out with his sister And if give him a full does he is totally chilled amazing thank you so would def recomend it for cats

I have been looking for a natural product to calm my very excitable Jack Russell down when I have visitors I have tried this a couple of times putting several drops on a treat otherwise he wont take it due to the smell It does seem to have calmed him down slightly but I need to up the dosage and administer over a longer period for better results Overall this promises to be a helpful solution

This was a last resort for us as we have tried plug in infusers collars noisy CDs and other homeopathic remedies to combat fear of thunderstorms and fireworks Our 9 year old heinzdog continued to pant and shake despite several doses Ive no doubt that others have found the product useful but unfortunately it was not suitable for our dog

I could only give this product 3 stars because with one of my dogs it did not work at all and the other two ran as soon as they smelt it I must confess the smell makes me feel nausious but I am prepared to try again during the course of this week because I know come Nov 5th my dogs will need every bit of help they can get to get through the noise

still trying it by juliehm on 22 September 2011

Weve tried this twice on our cocker spaniel before bathing and clipping and he seemed to be calmer afterwards
